It’s hard to believe that Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans 10 years ago already. New Orleans is one of my all-time favorite cities (there is just so much to like…I don’t even know where to begin). I’ve been fortunate enough to visit the Big Easy pre and post Hurricane Katrina. Looking back at the images of Hurricane Katrina is just stunning. It is simply amazing the recovery that New Orleans has undergone (and still undergoing in certain areas). Walking around the Crescent City today and seeing the water marks on buildings is an image that just really sticks with me. However, this play here, in the Return to the Dome, is when I realized that New Orleans will be back…even better than ever. I’ll leave you with this message from Steve Gleason (the man who blocked the punt)…who says it the best. Who dat?!
